Reunion 2001 photographs

The Family Reunion at Ala Moana park on June 23, 2001 in Honolulu, Hawaii was successful.  The cousins reacquainted with each other and started where they left off many years before. We all awed at the scope of how large the family had become.  Children from the 4th and 5th generations played just as their parents did when they were young.

Underneath a 20' x 20' tent everyone wore a name tag.  3rd generation tags included identification of father or mother. (Aunty Kay's idea) The BBQ was 4 feet by 40" and we had 60 lbs of charcoal on hand.  Pul-go-gee and Salmon was BBQ'd and the clan feasted on all the specialties brought by members of the family.  Desert was a chilled guava cake contributed by John Jr.
